back when ggg was confident ppl would play, they would rarely implement obvious qol changes. their responses were obvious gaslighting and powerplay but they didnt care, answers like "no auction house cause players want interaction", "you want divine shards? you already have them, they are called chaos orbs" and "no this is our vision, fuck you"

now they are suddenly implementing things that should have been implemented years ago, and i think they are doing it because they got nothing else they put all their resources into poe2 while poe1 is now being managed by interns who can only do the most basic of work. not to mention that they have been blueballing their audience with poe2 for years. now those gooners need a release, poe1 wont cut it anymore, and poe2 needs to keep their attention the same way poe1 could..
