! well, can help i think! i think im quite unbiased on the d4 issue cause i actually wanted it to be good. i love d2 man
also i hate ggg so that helps. also d4 players are easier to troll than poe players so ive been there quite a lot
so umm, when it comes to d4...it kinda went wrong. and it went wrong right from the start
devs were picked as diversity hires (ggg insists on quality when it comes to this), game looks more like d3 than actual d3, itemization is shit, monsters are lvl scaled, trade is limited, supposedly to counter bots but in reality probably to make chase uniques that are BiS for most chars next to unobtainable so ppl grind forever because theres pretty much nothing else to do ("uber uniques" as they call them have, according to my estimate, AT LEAST 1-2 orders of magnitude lower drop chance than mirror in poe; i wish i was joking), pvp is mediocre and will be worse and worse as the itemization goes up, game has more bugs than fallout 76 (best bug is that you load OTHER PEOPLES stashes when you get near them so they cant sell stash tabs; if this happened in poe and you came near a whale, the server would probably die lol), monetization is predatory as fuck (your cursor gets snatched and moved to the battle pass button; again, i wish i was joking), but worst of all - its simply boring. now, i didnt play it as i knew whats gonna happen, but the ratings are dropping hard and season 1 just made it worse as they nerfed everything. atm d4 haters are about 2x the number of enjoyers in the d4 section, i remember before d4 came out there was only about 5-10 of us that expected d4 to be shit
im very proud to report that just a few people from the poe section nuked the entire d4 forum
it looked like rocky in part 4 vs ivan drago, we were getting hit but giving our best, and as time progressed and ppl started to see the path that d4 is about to take, we were getting more and more support and now its pretty much a consensus that d4 is dead and has a life expectancy lower than a dog in chinatown
tldr: d4 is shit and cant really hurt poe much, unfortunately. i truly hoped that ggg would fucking die
p.s. that hideout is a 10/10 imo, i love how its done
