Have you ever heard of misdirection? They tout that skill/stat/gem board around like it's the second coming of Christ in video games. You know what it ACTUALLY is? Look at this picture.

You remember synergies? The only difference is the 100,000,000,000 little gems in between them which are almost *LITERALLY* pointless/meaningless. But they make that board look so elaborate and OmGzGozUuuUtH3oryKriPpkRAfting. They're skills, cram em up your ass and get over em. You know what PoE doesn't have? A place to sell your shit for money. And you want it that way, which is PERFECTLY fine.

It's just that that Free2Play model everyone hypes? Do you know what that actually translates to? No new content. No new items. No new builds. No new quests. Just a biiiig, silly, overly (and stupidly) detailed board designed to lure 'hxc arpg' morons into it. And you won't get any of the above because, with NO funding or income to pay all those developers and artists, this game will stagnate in less time than D3's even been out. You remember the other DIABLO K!LLERZ? Remember Guild Wars 2? Remember Torchlight 2? Where are they again? If D3 failed you, and TL2 failed you, and GW2 failed you, and you're looking at this game now in its current, mostly finished state and thinking "HELL YEAH! THE SAVIOR OF VIDEO GAMING!"... I've got some news for you.
Honestly, not mad, I've got D3 and I think the PoE bandwagoners are nothing short of adorable. I'm just a little confused. How is this thread nine pages deep in the D3 discussion? It's ALMOST like they need to spill over from the PoE section in an attempt to bring another 18 people to the circle jerk? 18 people??!? Yeah. In almost an entire year, their HUGE loving, dedicated and devoted community donated a WHOPPING 2.2 million to help fund it.
