This pretty fucking much standard procedure, you should expect this to happen. I have had multiple items that wouldn't 6-link below 3.5k fusings. Screw it, next time you will link one in 100 fusings.

Last league I found a voltaxic first day, had it 6 linked the next day with 20 jewelers and 18 fusings lol. This league I can't even 6 socket shit, still though not worth quitting. (currently running a 4link because bossmacdaddy)

Found consuming dark w/ high roll, sold it, found it it got moved to being a legacy item since it was nerfed. My old one would be worth around 10x it's old value now.
