PoE2 is coming out late next year.

I didn't know if D4 had a confirmed release schedule or not. Either way, I'd imagine I play D4 much like I'd play D3; 1-2 weeks at a time before complete boredom.

Why even buy d4 if its gonna be like d3

I mean if they get the pvp right in d4 it has a chance.

You will still be able to play both. But yeah, PoE 2 is a new game basically, and all the microtransactions, etc can be used in both "campaigns" (PoE1 and PoE2).

I think it's a totally separate storyline, but you can still choose to play old storyline and they share an end game?
