I'm still struggling with myself right now, I'm not sure if I wanna do a BiS 6T1 2H / Dagger BiS Mirror craft Collaboration, There's been a good few people whose Already approached me with offers so far, but after I explained the new 0.05% T1 roll rate, they all kinda strangely lost interest...

Typically when the new Leagues comes out, There's ALOT of profit to be made, I made aprox 200-300 EX in the first week of new temp leagues... but Do I sacrifice my fortune on Standard to gain 200-300? I'm not sure, I wana Min max the heck outta my builds, but with the new Mirror race that I'm too poor to participate in, Perhaps Just rushing from act 3> act 4 on my main characters would be sufficient enough? I'd just remake my build guides, once Mirror crafts arrives / Betterly divined etc? (Not the first edition Glyph etc) or To generally Avoid GGG Sniper patches.

I'm still on the fence...

Alpha, you sound oddly familiar, Were we ever accomplices of a crime in our past lives?

I have 2 different accounts so maybe we have talked ingame ;) the account i use to trade / buy on here isn't my main "mule" account so to speak

Im personally excited about the new 2h sword

Also depending on how hard you go in temp league, how fast you planning on killing aztiri sacrificing some of your standard wealth for temp advantage is favorable, market is extremely easy to corner especially if you work with a couple of people and have them pool you

The mirror race, i personally know people with easily 2000+ Eternals saved up for 2.0 and they won't even be playing temp league they will just be staying on standard

Sometimes i ask myself if i became part of the 1% just focusing on cornering markets and making profit would i even enjoy the game anymore?
.

Can't compete with the map hackers on Atrizi, I'm more of a Efficiency player (level) and Trades.

The most likely solution, is probably I'll play standard for a week and realize I can't Min max just yet, and hop onto the league for lel's.

Sc temp tho, The Clan's sounds soo much more interesting than tempest.

Furdtarmer< Can't believe I got baited into writing a huge essay of theory by an simple video >__> and hes not even online to read it! </3

HOLY dat essay

Fg is by nature unstable in relation to ingame currencies (as you stated), and that's the prime reason why it's such a good platform to make a profit on.

Take 100 fg and buy items in game with that, and then sell the same items ingame back onto jsp for 150 fg. Rinse repeat. The market moves so fast you can literally make hundreds of exalts just flipping - and that's what everyone does.

In relation to the comment about communism - the video doesn't really advocate it at all. It's not about banding the massive class of relatively poor people together to make a functioning whole stronger than the upper class. That sort of strategy on paper is a great idea, but it doesn't work in reality, as you can see for yourself in the real world.

But I digress, the point of the video is to explain human nature: namely the fact that it's completely rational - at all times to not work together - especially if you don't know what the other person is going to do.

The really interesting thing is the fact that over time people working selfishly for themselves realize that their actions are mutually destructive and they would be better off not competing in the first place - aka working together.

The cigerette companies both want to advertise, and at first (because they are interested in their own profits) they will. The other company (if it wasn't advertising in the first place) is forced into advertising aswell. In the end you have both companies advertising, when clearly neither should be. If they both simply agree to not advertise they will make a larger profit individually.

This is what I'm trying to say in short. Sell your exalts for less than 115 and you force other sellers to sell for even cheaper. You in return have to lower your price and so on. Everybody in the end makes less fg - counterintuitivly for the precise reason that everyone wants to make the most fg.

At risk of sounding like a pompous asshat: I was just trying to prevent stupid people from hurting their own profits before they began to panic sell. Has it worked?

If one person didn't sell as the result of listening to logic then the prices haven't fallen as far as they could have - this is good.

Also, hoarding exalts isn't wise per say, but it's not completely stupid. You can get some nice deals in game for pure ex atm.

Alpha - didn't read your comment and I won't either. I already made it clear that I'm not going to argue with you.

There's a reason why flippers ingame, refuse to pay more than a set amount of currency for eternals/ mirrors, it's not because they can't afford it, its because there's not point in a currency embargo if you yourself lift the price, unintentionally. It's better in the long run, just to anchoring down.

It's similar to
a high min max- everybody is op
or min min max balance - everybody is bad.
A balance must be created, but it's matter of perspective.

I prefer min min max balance where everything doesn't fluxulates.

Yes exactly. Give it a bit of time (once all the panic ex are bought) and the price will have nowhere to go but up.
