Masters made self found completely viable. I've done it multiple times and even on ladder I'm still top 300 within in a week. At that point I sometimes either make a new char or stop doing self-found because I'm not that big of a loner

e/ The primary problem is when people play super gear dependent builds as self-found and complain when it fails. Sorry but melee self found with 140% life at lvl 80 just wont work.

That´s simply not true, with all the tools available regular trading for a regular guy requires almost no input from the player himself nowadays.
Unless u go max flip mode all day for profit if course, but i doubt selffound guys are after profit.

But again self found players are almost nonexistent, and ppl who cares for them are even less, this includes GGG
So basically no one gives a shit

Isn't natural progression harder as self found? As you cannot buy those 1 off cheap deals for 1 or 2 c on poe.xyz?

It's mostly just about efficiency and potion management. As well as knowing what to farm when you can depending on gear and simply skipping the content you cannot handle. It's not hard to just run past dangerous areas and leveling in *safer* areas

So you admit that you sold fg vs cash which is prohibited to all d2jsp users. Only Paul Taulborg aka njaguar in the form of the forum bank can sell fg vs money legally. It's how this site was founded and paid for all the years. Basically you admit to scamming Paul Taulborg himself as he is the only legal seller of fg, but you do not want to be called a scammer. You also help devaluating the current fg on the market by selling it under the official rate for personal gain, thereby legally damaging all current holders of fg.

@topic I try to play selffound because the game is more challenging then and because it helps saving currency in new leagues. I only buy uniques / gems when they are crucial for my build. Like Abyssus for damage or cloak of defiance for survival.

But thats the thing. Natural progression should be the challenge/hard. We do not have that because the game is based around the "trade market values" and nolifing. Everyone always talks about the people who lvl to 100 in a few weeks as though that is the norm and SOMETHING MUST BE DONE ABOUT EXP GAINS!! Truth is those neckbeards are going to still neckbeard no matter what it takes. They have no life. They nolife the game to be at the top. That doesnt make them good or better than anyone. That only means they are without sun/girlfriends/jobs/parents who will stop feeding them. That shouldnt be the deciding factor of how a NORMAL person plays and progresses.

I am sure GGG though making currency/crafting materials the same would put some kind of awesome twist on crafting or buying items. Like it would be some hard decision for people to say hmmmm I have this dagger I could craft or I could buy a dagger. Well guess what. Ya done fukked it up because for 99% of the players that is not a question they ever ask. Its always save save save. Thats why the system is so fukked. Those same neckbeards are hoarding/cornering the market because THEY CAN. GGG watches them like they are the shit when in fact they are the worst thing that can happen to this game. Especially when they say themselves that drops are based off trade.

Those people having what they have is fine. I dont want what they have. I dont want free t1 uniques or mirror worthy items. Hell I dont even lvl past like 85 because its a chore. A chore with no reward. I just want to be able to get to lvl 85 and know the chance of something great dropping is actually a chance. Not that oh well I only have about 50 hours in this char so yeah... nothings going to drop. Thats how it feels. Thats not how a game should feel. Shits weak.
