mostly reddit doomer bs. they think RMT means the world is going to end. when in fact, it's been happening for decades on sites like eBay, etc. they don't understand it's not necessarily a negative, it's a double edged sword and simply a byproduct of a free economy. positives outweigh the negatives.

but a lot of manufactured outrage are done by people who have zero nuance comprehension, so they cry about how RMT is ruining the game. it will continue to happen long after we're gone too

Guys, if this ends up being true, what would happen to TFT? it'd be closed or the guy who is doing rmt will just be banned and thats it?

but even if they did have the power, would they close it? again id say no. ggg as a company is completely devoid of any humanity, which you can see if you have any conversation with their staff. i get more human responses from chatgpt
any "moral" decision by ggg is based solely on PR. this currently is bad PR, so they are likely to close the acc of the guy doing the rmt. not because they "feel its morally wrong of him" etc, but simply because the secret to good PR is a company that at least looks human. especially for the f2p business model. so they will cut the head off a hydra, everyone will complain how it solves nothing, then ggg will make some statement like "we feel its very important to have full transparency with our playerbase, and the complete truth is that we cant do much more than simply banning the person in question. we are investigating the problem and will punish everyone responsible" etc. so if they can go against jspers, they will. again not because of any morality involved (if nothing, it actually IS moral to use jsp because the retards didnt wanna implement an auction house), but because we are hurting their business model

also i wouldnt be surprised at all if ggg was in on this whole scam with discord

edit: oh one more thing. while ggg could theoretically say "hey discord is banned now, if you use it ur banned too" it wont happen for two reasons. first, discord doesnt breach their ToS, and second, banning discord because of rmt would be like banning cars because you can stuff a dead body inside it
