I guess it's possible to know the IP of someone through this very forum, simply using pictures hosted on a personal, or very private, server.
When using pms or visiting the website to sell or buy, and if having the same IP in POE, It would be very easy to be identified on both sides. If ggg is using accounts here with this technic they can catch people easily.
Btw there are options in d2jsp profiles to never download image, or even browsers add-ons doing this with specific settings (ie; not downloading pictures from not well know pictures servers like imgur etc)

Raising back the idea that having a mule using a specific different IP isnt that useless.

Even if it's possible for them to do, it's hard for me to imagine them going that far just to stop people from trading on jsp. I'm trying to avoid getting caught by a team of video game mods, not the CIA or something.

I thought GGG openly admit they don't care about D2JSP and nothing they can do about it. even when we have rats with full evidence.

now jsp is classified under "real money trading" and they are going ham on us this happened because poe is like a building with no foundation, standard league is dead, so people only play leagues. and since everyone plays leagues and jsp gives a massive advantage over people who dont use it, basically 95% of poe population cried about jsp so ggg had to do something about it

although since they dont wanna lose money, they usually warn first before banning you

they care. a friend of mine got banned after 1 day of trading all his stuff away. he kinda had similiar or same account names and made some sketchy trades. but they definetly care
