What gear is required?

err, so lets see

before: 10% more dmg (lvl 20 rs gem), 100% inc dmg & life soulweaver asc, early lvl 84 spectre Oba's last room
after: no dmg from gem, soulweaver gone, only lvl 80 spectre at lvl 20 gem

if you wanna make up for that kind of dmg loss(and hp too actually it matters), you'll need among other things +skill +dmg convoking wand, +2/3 pseudo-6L bone helm - do you realize how crazy expensive these will be? supply demand 101. and if you going for rs gem lvl 31 for extra spectre, you WILL need empower, which in itself is very expensive, but you also lose a dmg support that way (40%+ more).

more dmg on the passive tree isn't a good argument since it's not like you suddenly have all the points to get them, no ofc not, those are OPTIONS like you can get minion aoe OR minion dura(SRS) OR onslaught proc OR unholy might proc etc. incr. dmg is about the same.

for ascendancies, before you'd get mistress of sacr, commander of darkness, and ofc invoker + soulweaver. now mindless aggression replaces invoker, it's about the same, no inc. life but very slightly more dmg. the new +2 lvl from unnatural strength is roughly 2*5% more dmg for spectre that doesnt make up for soulweaver not even close. and then the rest is the same, OR, you could give up commander/mistress and get plaguebringer which is 10% more dmg... again not enough and you sacrifice something for it. and then we haven't talked about the inc. life loss, and loss of hp from lower spectre lvl... again need to invest in gear just to have lvl 83/84 spectre.

it's bad.

edit: on top of that, lost 2% regen from invoker. that's actually bad. convocation lasts only 2s, maybe little longer with skill effect dura... will be around 1.8% life regen with some +skill, but only for 2-3seconds. that's pitiful, so you need to 'waste' 1 but more like 2 passives on tree for minion regen, another loss there.

Raise Spectre has a base of two spectres max at level 11, three at 21, and four at 31.

Summon Skeleton summons 3 at once at level 11, 4 at once at level 21, 5 at once at level 31.
The maximum number of skeletons is 6 at 6, 7 at 12, 8 at 18, 9 at 24, 10 at 30 and 11 at 36.

The max zombies are 4 at 5, 5 at 10, 6 at 15, 7 at 20, 8 at 25, 9 at 30 and 10 at 35.
Zombie slam base cooldown reduced to 4sec down from 5sec

Inerfnal legion burns 40%minion life per second, and the damage of the aura is uneffected bye minion life, and it makes minions take 20%less firedamage
