I played private recently also. everything is snail pace in classic; walk everywhere, takes ages to kill mobs, takes ages for quest objectives to respawn, takes ages to lvl professions, world pvp while fun will also slow you down, etc. ppl don't realize this just full-on nostalgia. wow was special for all of us but I've done it all back then, no need to re-do all that crap 15 yrs later, no thanks my free time is infinitely more valuable than that. ppl will get bored of it in a few weeks btw, except for casuals and streamers for whom it's their livelihood.
