ED was already decent for a starter and its gonna be a lot better now

I started last league with Life+mom occultist with ED+deaths oath and it felt pretty good.

1. You get super easy max chaos resistance with occultist chaos nodes which means that you won't even notice the damage from deaths oath (mom also mitigates it)
2. I got a perf rolled cane of unravelling for like 2 chaos on the second day and it's pretty much BIS unless you want to use multiple ex on a +3 multi mod staff
3. Betrayal had some crazy chaos damage and I had no clue why people were dying to Tora and it that fled because the build needs max chaos res anyway

Death's oath also got a 25% more damage buff and we have 2x new chaos dot skills to try if you wanna switch off ED for a bit. Not to mention all the curse stuff which is perfect for occultist

e/ works perfectly as a trickster as well if you wanna skip Deaths Oath or try out some Evasions/ES shenanigans

I get what u mean but you playing occu why waste your helm slot for any of that shit, just seems hipster asf tbh. When occu already gives a similar effect when going pure Es. Kinda seems like a meme tbh.

I just want to reserve all my mana and use Es to cast skill and Es leech lets you do that w/o any investment.

pathfinder EK works nicely as well, but inquisitor gives you "infinite damage" against bosses and rares with high resistances... also inquisitor has insane attack speed for shield charge/WB



what ascendancy would you go with shadow? none of them offer anything amazing compared to inquisitor
