So are you at the integer paragon cap in diablo 3?
Let me guess....no. Checkmate dude. Conclusion: D3 isnt a game. /s
What im trying to say is: Just because something does take long to achieve, it doesnt mean its fun. If its not fun people wont even try to do it.
I could count my bathroom tiles all day long. And while its true that it will take long (probably not as long as achieving lvl 100 in poe though). Guess what, i wont do it. Its not fun, which is the reason probably almost no one will do it. Conclusion: Just because there are some retard no lifers on this planet who enjoy counting all their tiles in their bathroom its still safe to say that the "counting bathroom tiles" game is dead.
You mean like 1 week into a league or so. They even have to run 1 month events 2/3 into a league because even casuals get bored by then and quit the game
Pretty much this. Its one or two weeks into a league when its becoming a harder and harder to buy a map or normal items. 90% of the people don't even react anymore when people want to buy a 5c map from them. Heck, the first 20 items on poe.trade are pricefixers anyways, which makes it even harder. Its around that time into a league where im /done with the league anyways and just wait for new patch. Game definitely has peaked, which is why they sold the ship to chinese mega corp before it sinks.
No king rules forever.
edit: D4 announcement is on the horizon, wether it be this year or next year and i dont think blizzard will do same mistake again. They will try to reclaim the crown. Will be interesting to see Diablo 4 vs PoE 4.0 tho :D
Activision runs blizzard and they will say "That piece of crap diablo 3 sold 12 million copies so you need to make this new game identical".
