eh? your money would still be used in the exact same way - go towards development, growth, improving poe in any and every way possible. if you don't consider ggg independent anymore due to the tencent deal, and that's why you choose not to support them anymore, that's fair enough, your choice, although I'd say pretty silly reason.

I've been working for a "family owned" company for a few years. They sold 75% of the share, but made the legal papers so that the biggest owners can't do anything as long as the company makes profit and the two "main" people are still working there. And yes, they did cash out. But that doesn't mean they are giving up their "baby".

another thing to note is that every other game tencent is involved in, they do not have a majority holding.

I would say giving up 80% of your company is giving up your baby, but that's just me. To each their own though. They should definitely rename these "supporter" packs too. That word is now 100% a misnomer.
