I will go more in depth because I believe this statement is true. With GGG, we've come to expect a certain standard when it comes to quality. Even old MTX have always been pretty nifty, and at the very least, they worked.
This MTX does not reach GGG's level of quality, for a couple of reasons. First of all, even though it is supposed to be some sort of aura, it is literally a 2D overlay put behind the character. Because it is plain 2D, it actually crops out of the game. It becomes very obvious once you start moving with it, because if you stare at the aura, it looks as if its just staying still while the background scrolls.
The second issue is that it's not affected by your character's movement or action. It is not affected by your strides. For instance, pick a shadow and equip this. When the shadow starts running, he leans forward a little bit, revealing the "eye" of the aura, making it just... floating there. Even other auras such as Gore armor or spell effects like discipline bubbles fit with movement, yet this doesn't. Another obnoxious one is on the witch when she's casting. She does that kind of "push" forward where she leans down and forward, and this has the effect of making the "aura" literally just float above her.
So yeah, GGG needs to fix this, because this is very sub-par.
