Also, that the existence of same/similar names across different platforms is absolutely not proof that those users are the same person. Dark Knight on Xbox is not automatically Dark Knight from PSN. Also, neither of those two are necessarily Dark Knight from discord. People can also change their names on many platforms.

I said same name opens you up to implications because people will start speculating that you are the same person
Anyways, if you're involved in an activity that is considered illegal or against ToS, having less attention on you is beneficial no matter what
If having similar/matching names acts as a catalyst for further investigation, wouldn't you want to prevent that?
