yeah yeah, that "if you slap a few muslims you are already becoming a nazi" propaganda is really good for crowd control in first world societies <_< i think new improvements should be made no matter how loud the minority yells d3, they should just do a poll, see if auction house gets enough votes, if it does screw the minority and just go with it  there is literally no logical argument against the auction house, the last one was "reduces player interaction", but its reduced already to a copypasted "Hi, I want to buy..." button on poe.trade, which is an auction house already  !
think this way: who really benefits from auction house not in game? those who exploit poe.trade. auction house as i suggested is a completely open market, and cant really be influenced in the ways poe.trade can. the sad thing is that this isnt even the first time ive seen lobbying in poe, i dont know why but people become REALLY greedy in this game
I never totally understood the "player interaction" argument for keeping trading the way it is. I've never bought or sold something where afterwards it was like "Hey, so now that we completed this trade, want to be friends and go farm some maps or some uber labs or something?" Coincidentally enough, though, I've made some pretty cool friends in the game by trading things on here, which is against the ToS and has everyone real cautious about not mentioning jsp in-game so they don't get banned. It's annoying to have to whisper like a dozen different people before you even get a reply, and I know I've probably annoyed some people who wanted to buy things when they wanted to buy something from me but I was in uber labs or a zana rotation or something else that I couldn't leave to trade with them.
Definitely agree with you about people getting really greedy in this game, though. I'm mostly in it because it's a fun game and I like playing with friends, but the friend that I'd been playing with all season recently decided that grouping with an aurabot/friend is not as profitable as playing alone and not having to split any loot. I've played games before where some people farmed gold or other in-game stuff, and had dick-measuring contests in town about whose gear was the best, but it seems like everyone I meet in this game is just completely obsessed with maximizing their farming efficiency/profits. =\
