1. how exactly is this poll help giving an understanding to others? the poll is private where it doesn't show who voted for what? simply asking for showing a true example of a pay to win feature on this game is not bashing, it's asking to back up the statement that you're misusing
2. no sample no matter how large is going to tell you that, you cannot simplify a poll like this when it's taking a poll on people's mindset of the game and how it changes; it doesn't work like that
3. again no, just because you have such a pessimistic view on people does not make it true. Nor does what I suggested make it invalid just because you thought of a possible situation for the information to be skewed. You can do that with any poll/survey to make it invalid.

honestly every time i hear people argue semantics like this i feel like its the same "how do we even know we exist" argument.

it helps because a wise person might see it and think "heeey, i do think that the game isnt p2w, but it truly could be because i actually paid for it so im just subconsciously defending my actions! oh well, maybe its wrong! but still, i shouldnt bash the people who dont think as i do anymore "

I am noticing a pattern with you, I ask for you to state what exactly makes the game pay to win and you avoid the question

then you continuously say there is bashing going on and I ask for an example of where there is bashing in our conversation, you avoid the question and continue stating that.


if you cannot handle having your logic questioned when it is so flawed then perhaps you shouldn't be posting your thinking in the first place; I am not bashing you so stop trying to victimize yourself


All I have ever asked is for you (or anyone for that matter) to point out what is pay to win about this game, why is that such a hard thing to be able to do? paying for convenience does not equate to pay to win when there are better, FREE options out there already as is and has no direct advantage which is what p2w truly means

and I have not paid anything for this game either

a wise person will do exactly what I am doing and ask for what exactly makes it pay to win to have a better understanding of your thought process which is what you yourself said you were trying to do. So help me understand by not playing a victim and actually have a conversation about it

well not my fault for not seeing the question in that giant wall of text !

so you actually asked for my opinion why its p2w? well heres a few things that bother me the most:

1) you know of chaos recipe. its much much better than collecting alts by selling all kinds of shit. well, chaos recipe makes you richer faster than normal vendoring trash. the problem is that it simply doesnt work with 4 tabs. with a lot of tabs, you just make a tab called "helms", "gloves", boots", and so on. with 4 tabs you cant collect even the most important gear, let alone do that
2) new trade system. pretty much REQUIRES premium tabs
3) one might think this is just the first step and next is eliminating poe.trade use altogether. that makes me very unhappy

I've sunk thousands of dollars into this game, don't think it's really p2w... if anything it's p2convenience since literally these exact same things can be done with Acquisition (which even premium tab users still HAVE TO USE for organization), it may be at tops a few seconds quicker (then again, typing a price into acquisition is a hell of a lot faster than fumbling with the current drop downs and in-game shit).

I think all accounts should either start with, or somehow unlock (similar to Scion unlock) a single free Premium tab. I think this would also let them get the "taste" for Premium Tabs, and will result in them buying more... as once you have played with prem tabs (even without trade changes), it's really hard to go back to playing without them.
