In all fairness,

Cod is a better "party" game, meant for casual fps players who want a game that they can join and instantly start killing people without using any tactics/teamwork, more lone wolf play. Also small maps, no vehicles, etc

Battlefield is more tactical, time consuming, and realistic. No aim assist, sniping from long distance makes you calculate drop, etc.

Don't knock it till you try it. For a game that started the way it did, and seeing what it has become I am extremely impressed. The customization in this game is nuts, the graphics are good, the gameplay is very smooth. Does it have the potential to be a Diablo 3 killer? I don't think so, but it does have the potential to put a serious hurt on the Diablo 3 player base.
