Well of course this is true,

D2 was loved by many for many years. When D3 came out everyone bought it, We all waited 10+ years for this game our imagination's ran wild with what kind of crazy monsters and new character's we would see, What awesome new items,Skills and quests were we going to be doing for the next 10 years?

Then a couple months down the road we all realized the game was crap, Geared at making money and completely lacked the depth of Diablo 2.
We all wanted something new and exciting to fill this void, Some say Darksouls is amazing, some enjoy Skyrim or the Witcher. Many of us are saying Path of Exile.

Some are saying no no wait it out d3 will be good it has to this is blizzard we are talking about...
I have news for you, This team is not blizzard north they have no idea what they are doing. Jay Wilson was the head of i believe starcraft he had no knowledge of arpg's but yet was chosen for this game. This team does not understand what made Diablo 2 so addicting and sadly without attributes and a skill tree it will never be.

Sure they could add skill damage items with +1 to x skills but that would only keep us entertained for a month maybe three.

Currently the game is a game up to level 60 then you become a god and have all max skills at your fingertips.

None of us have even been to max level in PoE, We keep pushing but the exp penalty's become so huge it probably cannot happen yet. The difference is the higher the level you become the more serious the items get. The monsters are always hard its pretty rough to make an op build. Another nice thing is you can start finding currency at level 1.

The currency actually has a purpose. Orb of alchemy turns a normal item into a rare, Do you know how awesome that is?
Needless to say they all do something awesome if you understand them and use them properly.
So the currency is essentially the crafting system and honestly it is pretty damn perfect.

Imo these graphics are not bad and i think you are mentally ill if you would choose a game with good graphics but crap gameplay over a game with decent graphics and good gameplay.

btw i am watching a ninja movie and it has been pretty boring so that is why i decided to type all this out. It sounds like things are getting interesting so i will see you guys later.

Lol it took me a minute but i got it

i played the game from November 2011 - april 2012. made a dualist, witch, marauder, ranger, and started on a templar and assin or ninja or what ever that last class to realse was.

I know all about the game, im not a fan of it.

my personal opinion is that the only diffrence between this and D3 is that you didnt have hyped to hell expectatons when you picked up POE. if you were bored after 6 months of diablo 3, welcome to the same experience all over again.


Though to address my origional point:



just because some graphs show a peacked interest in the game a few weeks before its release says nothing about the game, just because kripp has the same number of vieweers for POE as he had with D3 dosnt mean that his entire D3 fanbase stopped watching him when he started streaming POE, and every one that watches him are just watching him because of an indi game.

citing things like # of viewers or Internet trends only make a good argument when you elave the viewer blind to certain aspects of the argument.

POE and d3 are VASTLY different, to say otherwise shows you didnt play it worth shit.
