At this point, 33 pages deep, I think this thread will make for the perfect little... "social experiment" in a way.
If not by other people randomly posting, I'd like to keep this thread bumped. Somewhere on the first two pages. I think the concept of "flavor of the month" is truly lost on some of the kids today. Everyone gets behind the new thing and hypes it to be the XYZ killer or the next big thing. Take PoE COMPLETELY outta the equation, I'm just talking in general. This applies to all media, really. We live in a disposable society and people have completely forgotten how much time (years) changes not just opinions, but the very things those opinions might be about (games, TV series, hell even real estate/buildings/malls whatever).
So this post might get quoted and shit on, I'm pretty sure it will. I know our resident "trolls" (sub-100 IQ individuals with learning disabilities) will hate it up and down. All good. I'm just gonna leave this here, #327 and wait for 6-8-12 weeks. Then, when I get an hour or so, I'll read every page or maybe every other page and just watch general consensus shift. Which way? I don't know, there's bias in my opinion but I think it'll be interesting all the same. I think it'll be especially interesting because a Free2Play model with no real means of realizing return on what's a (relatively) massive investment could be catastrophic. Could be absolutely incredible too, only time will tell...
