Some idiots won’t put up an item for trade and will say t4t afterwards. I play it safe and make sure they don’t message me at all in game.

If this happens i'd tell people you traded item X for an ingame service, like unlocking a hideout or doing a harvest craft or even EXP boosting (like breach stones) or something like that.
I dont think you will get banned just because some idiot pms you stuff, since you actually declined the trade aswell.
