Popular game = high prices
Dead game = low prices

Path of Exile had its moment, but it has long passed.

Don't mistake PoE's dead cat bounces whenever they release a new league for recovery.

I have to imagine that poe still has way more players than d2, they've been actively developing their game for 10 years. I don't think # of jsp forum users is a good metric, because a) jsp is bannable in poe and b.) you don't really need jsp to trade in poe, their native trading system is better. I always use jsp on d2 but I've never used it in poe.

PoE definitely has more players long term. I've seen streamers on d2r selling their shit on D2jsp and mentioning it/showing off their FG logs lol.

So not true. PoE has poe.trade and PoE's own trade site at a way that isnt available for D2R.
What Allience said. Just chatting or talking in PoE about jsp can get you a ban.
Same for posting items here on jsp with known stats. It is traceble. Only save trade here on jsp is currency.
And PoE is definitly not a death game.
