Visual clutter, performance, and layers upon layers of leagues all conglomerated into one. It sounds exciting for us, because we've been playing it for over half a decade, but try to get a new person to play PoE, good luck.

I agree, even for someone who plays on and off every league it's wayyyy to many mechanics smashed together. I remember legacy league being fun but now it's like 3x legacy league lol

They are removing unnecessary/bloated leagues, and changing the way itemization is (rare drops, item linking system for skills etc)

removing beyond is hardly removing bloated leagues, loot 2.0 is already semi-introduced to the game and wont make a huge difference other than you dont need to change item filters as often, the linking system will make it harder and even less deterministic to have a 6link
poe 2.0 is just another campaign, end game doesnt change at all (other than any changes they make to atlas as they already do regularly)

i enjoy poe and still play lots, there are plenty of things I dont like about it but still very much enjoy it
but if you think poe 2.0 will be some kinda game changer.. its not its a large patch and that is it.

just like people who think d2 resurrected is anything different... its not

Just because people are downloading the game doesnt mean they are staying player retention has been trash for a while we've heard all this before. Many new players dont even get through the campaign.
