tbh i think you find it fun because you grew up with it and played it before other games were more appealing. for example, i love d2 LOD post 09, however people swear 09 was the best. I tried an 09 priv server back in the day and it is trash imo.

nostalgia is a bitch sometimes. id never play d2 ever again after playing better games that have came out after it such as POE.

been playing private servers, nostalgia btw. Only reason I stopped cause the fuckers kept shutting the servers down. Now we will have a stable blizzard server with no risk of shutdown.
