I happened to be one of those players back then, and the game was still 60% unplayable. By which, I mean it crashes because too many items at least 2/5 games.

I never crashed from item drops... I honestly crash more now days then before.

I did run an AMD Build back then vs now. But I do know what you mean, I crashed less on my 980ti than now with my 2080 ti.
