Yes the description says it uses your melee weapon, that does not classify it as a melee skill, the tags do and in this case it's not melee tags.

It THROWS the melee weapon hence its ranged and therefore not ranged. You can only throw melee weapons, but that just mean that you cant throw ranged weapons such as a bow. You still throw so its still ranged. Do you consider throwing javelins melee?

And that you can use it up close to an enemy.. If I use a bow and cant be arsed to kite so I just facetank my ememy does not make the skill I use with bow melee.

There are tags which claims whether a skill is melee.. But I guess you can Change that when you start coding yourself? Didnt you say you asked Chris to be able to program PoE seeing as you could do a better job than their current team.

St is melee what a fuckin dumbass. (Projectile) attack =/=melee. His only evidence is people being at close range with slower proj.

@op: eq with 2handed weapons is a great starter build. Really straight forward, easy to gear, high cap and showcases a few unique elements of poe. Can do lab and endgame content np. Good luck
