Well they are reasonable I suppose but ofc he won't be doing that again

He's a nice guy too I hate to see him get the hammer for that, especially since he wasn't even buying mass currency or anything

Hello guys, so I'm really bored today (while at work) let's talk about Poe level creep and how this affects you and the community of Path of Exile.

Level 100 offers you full potential of the passive tree, on most build they settle quite nicely on level 90+ however on the builds I've played "level 96" tend to be the magic number, however this magic number thing used to be much lower, before forsaken masters came out, the "magic number level" used to be "level 92" especially referencing low life St builds. you may ask, why does this "magic number" matter?

The "magic number" matters, as key bench mark, the magic number is the amount of level you require to min max your character's passive tree, with 1 point short, for example at level 95, you won't reach a specific passive tree node efficently, thus crippling your builds min max or just simply won't work, levels above the magic number point, if of tend considered icing on top of a cake, it's nice but it's 100% nesscary (although I do love cake)

Ggg has been increasing the levels you require to make a "end game build" for example llst was minium requirement at level 92, now it's level 96.

What does this mean on an economical stand pont? In order to be registered as "online" xyz requires you to be on the level ladder, although recently the ladder has been increased from 1000> players to 1500 players. The current online level cap is 91 50% EXP ish, it used to be level 92 before the ladder cap increase. (1000)

6 months ago, the xyz online level used to be 86-87, 1 year ago if you were level 84+ you are considered very high level and "nolifehardcorefgtnub" and is registered to poe.xyz's automatic online function. (Trust me being on the ladder rewarded you huge trade revue by just being online alone, instead of clicking on that pesky, online function every hour (automated online function was not released back then))

Level 78 maps were worth 1-1.5 exalts a pop
now you can get 2-3 78 maps per exalted.

However due to the release of forsaken masters, getting levels have been made much easier, at level 99 with a 50% dom mod Zana you can roughly get 1% EXP per map. Basic rare non pack size 78 maps without dom mod gives roughly 0.9-1.2 % EXP.

In 2.0, act 4, we'll get 3 additional passive points from act 4 miner quest, but overall the passive tree is getting bigger and longer routes to reach more desirable locations.

Many top racers can reach level 100 in under 1 month, or level 90 in one week on a bran new league, yet the major public and Ggg refuses to admit that PoE requires "End game" for level 100 characters, level 100 is like a dream for most the Poe community, but little do they know, being level 100 is a curse, it is counter productive to farm and map on a level 100 character, why? Because you gain no experience, there is no longer any further progression for your character.

Also "make a new character" why? I already have the maxed out character.

Majority of the poe's active population is around level 85-92 now, why is there still a voodoo topic to request for "End game" content for your maximum level 100 guys?

Along with the map level increase, I believe level 100 characters won't even be that rare anymore, do you know want to know what happen to diablo 3 before paragon levels were released? After a week, half the game's end game players left, due to no content.

Do we serious have to fucking wait till act 5? For them to notice this growing problem?

Act 4 is nice and all, but in reality as a level 100 player, it offers us nothing, if I'm at this point, so will you one day, and Path of Exile wiLL lose a large proportion of its player base.

I love path of exile, but I'm afraid path of Exile has lost faith in me.

Side note I also have all BiS gear.

If you play standard, with BiS gear and plenty of money to burn, you get get 1-100 in under a week solo.

85 ish, I create/modify builds that function well at that level (75 ish maps with great clearspeed), because I don't have patience to do more leveling, also when I stop seeing my progression over a set amount of time I get bored
Like did 20 map and got only 20% xp, no good drop then fuck it I'm off to dota or tera

also I may have the worst luck in poe history, so having a good drop (still waiting for one since open beta, ~~4k playhours) would be the real end game for me

My goal within the next 2 weeks before everything uproots is to get to 97

Last 2 Passive Points fairly important imo

There's a damn Ring I wanna buy but the user hasn't logged on in ages T_T

Replacements can be found but at the cost of Level 98 for another STR Node I suppose

Other than that, 20/20 Corrupted Gems, or the "correct" min/max gems. Any gem that isn't 20Q or 23Q makes my skin tingle

Sad that I finally found a setup that I truly enjoy playing but it's all going away anyways ^^

I have insomnia, and I assure you, it's easier than it seems, it's a matter of how much currency you are willing to burn (for 1- 2 nodes), rather than the actual limitation of difficulty.

(Yeah I'm a hardcore bass ass tough cookie)
