This is how the big boys do it on hardcore. Challenged player PK_GOD to a 1vs1 life or death duel in bandit quest.
His 28 vs my 28. He landed the first hit, took a little more than 80% of my hp.
I landed my hit, instant killed him. He alt f4'd right when he died, probably thought he still had some time to live.
Or perhaps he thought he could escape his death while in a state of cognitive dissonance.
My respect to him though, we both were full of adrenaline and ready for the fight.
It could have been me in the grave instead but I am the victor of this match.
Rest in Default son. Thanks for the awesome match, thought it was 5 seconds long, neither of us will forget the eternity it felt like.

mostly, yeah. there are some cases where you fight a person with a kaom's heart whose regen is far greater than your damage output, but have shit for damage.

I have made around 5 characters for pvp and have done several hundred matches. none of them have actually been that fair for either side, and bear traps are way too op lol.

@OP, what skills are you using?

you'll have to find out yourself..

to me, bear trap is only useful for setting up kills and micro, in my higher skill fights
only noobs get owned by bear trap though, so many ways to counter




if anyone wants to do some money matches, make a LLD on hardcore and we can set up some fights

pvp isn't worthless, but a few things need to be fixed like default block rate on shields and maybe something to do with faster hit recovery (you can run perma stun builds with just pure attack speed)
