whats the point of a leveling race if you use an already leveled char?

Point of view man.. thats imporant, I mean, i can find stupid to make 1 day race if some1 have been playing the game for a long time.. since u have already played every character... and dunno, shouldnt make much sense ( i havent tried the game yet so i just sayin what i think) maybe some1 rather plays his main character to get better stuff reather than start from scratch over and over..

The point of one day races is to make things more interesting for people. It's a different kind of competitive gameplay that some people will enjoy playing.

It's also worth noting that players will be able to start their own leagues with their own rule sets once OB goes live.

Not sure I know what yall talking about.. but are you saying you dont understand why people do like 3 hour races with new chars?

If so.. its because its fun competing at things lol. Everyone starts at the same time and ends at the same time but even in that short amount of time theres so much you can do to increase your speed at things which is why its fun figuring out the optimal way to do everything. Just yesterday during a practice run I reached level 18 at 1 hour 6 minutes 41 seconds time played (with no movement speed boots found). A lot of people are not even able to get to level 18 in 1 hour 30 minutes.. some not even 2 hours. When I first started being serious about racing as a witch after practicing for a long time at 1 hour 6 minutes I would be level 13 which shows how much I have actually improved.

About the leagues owned by people.. pretty sure that wont happen right at open beta launch.
