Just got into closed beta by winning some contest, man, this game is amazing so far.

If D3 will be too gay for ya, I reccomend PoE.

Deactivate shadows. The game does not look half as good without them, but runs much better on low-end machines.

did that and still have only 10 fps or so

Try activating Vsync as well. Update your graphics card drivers. If nothing does help your computer sucks.

edit: of course it could be a compatibility problem as well, in which case you should post in the beta forums to let the devs know.

Is it like Diablo as far as the game system works. I know its the same gameplay but is it open world or instanced games like d2 ? And how does the pvp work

Everything except towns is instanced. There are PvP arenas, but how PvP in other areas works depends on the league you are playing in. For example, in the league "cutthroat-hardcore" you can join other people's instances, kill them (perma death) and take all their items.
