That could've just as easily been me. Just came back to the game and didn't realize that GGG has been banning a lot more people for trading fg, just went straight to the trade forum and didn't read here until afterwards. It was only my being a cheapskate with my pretend forum points that saved me lol.

i think you just email them from the email address acc is connected to although if its banned, dont expect much

Yeah we use steam and wouldnt let us login to get to appeal section, just booted us to login screen again.

My throwaway account that got banned wasn't linked to Steam

I could log onto PoE site and was able to use the "Appeal Ban" option
However, after appealing and having it rejected, I kept messaging them via PoE site PM function
They ignored me and eventually locked my account from even logging in to PoE site

I email them every now and then, directly via email, to which they respond (if it's from a different email than the one that got banned) and give me the same response along the lines of, "This issue has been dealt with by the Accounts Investigation Team and will not be revisited. Please note that any further inquiry into this issue may not receive a response"

I even tried going on Reddit and complaining 2-3 months ago when I first got banned about how different people are given different treatment depending on the mod who handled the case. I was even asking around if there was anyone who has been banned and had their appeal rejected, and was unbanned at a later date.
Got banned on the subreddit for a few hrs/days and I stopped (just used reddit for first time to make a PoE post)

Anyways, has anyone ever had their ban appeal rejected but was later unbanned? If so, do you have records that show the sequence of events?

Damn Daniel. I really hope this goes flat again because who tf has time to farm this game all day long?

When a league was good I just hopped on, earnd my first 2-3 ex on my own ssf , convert and go full nuts with d2jsp. Was fun, was spending money on mtx but since I am an adult this game seems to die for myself

Just a quick question on this topic. Has anyone gotten locked and then been banned by the investigation? I played my alt-acc and main on the same PC, my alt was banned and my main locked. I e-mailed ggg that i was locked, and they asked for my acc-name/characters and now I'm not sure if I should admit to anything, cross my fingers that they unlock anyway, or just do nothing and hope its unlocked eventually.

I think they just want to verify that you are the person who is emailing about the account is in ownership of the account. Dunno.

as ipez said, they ask for chars to verify if its you yes they always do that pretty much

btw whats the difference between your main and alt acc? money spent? might be why main got a second chance so to say !

they ban the account that did the rmt, they lock accounts on the same ip as a "warning"

saw someone else get banned, failed the appeal so he made a new account (like they told him to). They locked the new account only after a few hours and pretty much said "don't do it again" meaning they had his ip flagged.
