What really killed all of my hopes for PoE was their decision to use their same self made hacked together game engine for PoE 2 as they're currently using I PoE. I mean they could have used a free engine and it would have been better. 😳

It's not like they don't make enough money to pay for a decent engine either.

what can i say, they looove to reuse their resources i remember chris talking about it very proudly! so poe 2 will be like everything ggg does: same thing, just with a flashy name

Chris even said that a few of them patched this engine together when they were fresh out of school and had no experience in building games at all..😂

What it really shows is that they don't care about polishing the game or even giving it a chance to be as good as it could be. If they ever put out a polished finished product I would definitely buy it. It's this forever beta bullshit that keeps me away.

yeee, they seem to be jewing it too much, especially lately before it was acceptable as they were poor, but now they cant really afford that mentality anymore i think !

I got 80 c and 3 divines off the only one I finished, it's not amazing but it seems to be worth the effort.

Yea that's not normal. Never even seen a divine as a deferred reward/drop/reward in general.

For the most part seems to be a poor use of time in my experience, but obviously you can get lucky, like anything.

almost lvl 80. doing the generic cold dot occultist on ruthless. pretty tough ngl

i really don't like we don't have any movement skills though. i'd kill just for flame dash (just one charge is fine), or anything.. but i guess it does slow gameplay down.

regarding sanctums in ruthless, they seem very hard everyone skips them them until later on when they have support gems. rewards feel like trash, and your resolve resolves so fast especially with no movement and low ms. some of the layouts, even if you time it right and pop a quicksilver+30% ms boots, your character won't make it across the lightning squares lol

edit: i feel like your character will barely make it across, then get hit with aoe of the little lightning on the edges of the squares, and boom, rip your resolve. maybe i'm a shit player but iuno, hate this fcking league mechanic. rather just do maps
