2/ I would use a secondary account but on a different PC and having a different IP adress

i think you are giving them too much credit they arent really the smartest bunch. when i was banned for credit card chargeback, they told me all my accounts would be banned and any new one i made would be as well. however i simply used a public vpn and played for like half a year without them knowing anything and they never caught me really, i stopped playing cause i was bored..

Your name, credit card etc are still banned along with the original account ? How long time ago it was ?

no idea about credit card, i dont even have a credit card of all the questionable things ive done in poe, this was one time when i was actually innocent i mean i would never give ggg jack shit and they could see that chars on all my accs had the best looking lifesprig/tabula/goldrim combo

original accs that got caught with that ip are all banned yes

and it was a year or so ago maybee? not sure, can check if needed but i kinda need to go soon so i will do it when i get back

Somewhat related question, but I don't think it's against their TOS to have multiple accounts. If you have two accounts and get caught trading on one, do they ban both, or just the one that got caught? Does anybody know?

i know ! for most offenses ive checked, they only ban the acc in question. jsp goes into that group, at least i did when i got banned for it. the only ip-wide ban ive been a part of was that credit card chargeback ban

You can have max 2 accounts on the same PC, but the problem isn't here, yet it's all about getting banned - meaning caught - because of d2jsp use.



GGG banned your IP by mistake because they banned "a whole range of IP" ? I don't get it, it's not bright clear...

That's good to know, thanks for the info. Now I wonder if I'm allowed to move items/currency back and forth between two accounts if I'm open about them both being me. It would be pretty stupid if I got banned for RMT for trading with myself, lol

Check the official poe forums, theres topics about having more than one account.
Its officially allowed.
There is some kind of limit to it thou (not sure if they ever stated an exact number, but i can tell you 2-3 Accounts are no Problem)
