if you are like me, a filthy eastern european who doesnt pay for shit, you will avoid this mental trap and see poe for what it is. an unpaid job, but more time consuming :wacko: if you cant put at least 8h a day into poe, get fucked because you wont be able to make your char actually work. and once you eventually do make it work, get fucked anyways because the game is changed every couple of months from the ground up and your char wont work anymore. you cant play for the pvp because there isnt any, you cant play for the company because you will get muted if you for example say that europe doesnt need any more migrants. say anything that cant be signed by both alex jones and antifa, and in 5 seconds flat you will be muted by the resident mongoloid named lisa_ggg <_< the story has been patched more times than the standard model of particle physics yet somehow makes even less sense :wacko:

the problem is that d2r managed to shit on the best thing d2 had to offer, pvp :(

tldr: d2 > poe > d2r. be realistic if you try it, and know that the game is not actually free, and it will make your mind much clearer. and when you quit it due to unnecessary complexity in a week, i recommend any of poes competitors (last epoch or something) because poe in the current state is just...boring :wacko:

Poe is actually in a decent state. Most ARPG end up in 1 single end game grind D2, Grim, D3... it's all just mindless kill and be done, 1 build with minor differences. Poe gives you options aside just mapping, you have heist and expedition, crafting and playing the trade market. You can't just copy my RF ele build, theres 0 chance you will find the correct stats on the correct item for every slot if you try to copy mine, since the only required gear piece is just a mageblood.
Leads to so much more diversity in how a single character can be geared, unlike d2 where every hammer is hoto/enigma/shako etc.

anyways, i kinda liked that system! there was pretty much one best way to build a pvp char and all other were inferior, and the equipment was kinda cheap! which made player skill the most important thing that decided duels :drool: poe pvp isnt enjoyable because skill doesnt decide anything, and a game without pvp is a bore to play anyways to me :(
