No, people get their accounts locked, investigated, then unlocked shortly after.
Happens when reported in mass.

People just jump to conclusions when the public profile goes down, but they get access back to the acc shortly after, usually 2-3 days.
Many posts on reddit of "wow they unbanned a scammer" lmfao, no they were never banned.

I don't think you've actually kept up. They are banning scammers now.

Scamming in game? not gonna happen, hundreds of people fall for emp 3/4 swap, or shavs 5l, they only care if you scam someone important, or hit front page of reddit, believe it or not, most of the playerbase doesn't use reddit.

again, that's just 1 person, other individuals have been banned for scamming, but it's like 1 post a year.
So I wouldn't say "they are banning scammers now" as in actively, because they have always banned scammers when it gains enough traction, but it's like 1/year as I said.
