tl;dr how fucked is the herald build?

It's fine just will only buff auras casted by your skills

so no tailwind boots, and solstice vigil wont get mega buffed

From what I read - and forgive me as this is my 2nd season - it looks like they mainly just removed the ability to gain the abilities from passives? As long as you run heralds in sockets you should be ok?

guardian is dead, period, other builds will be somewhat ok



aura's not gained from a skill gem will not be boosted, ie tailwind, HH buffs, guardian nodes etc
Not sure if this will affect golems, if it does, ele is dead too, along with guardian.

It absolutely does affect Golems. If it isn't a skill gem, it won't be buffed.

are you meaning it will affect golems aura or it will now nerf it?

the way i understand it, it will nerf it since the aura doesn't originate from a skill gem itself, but from the golem.

Your understanding is how I am understanding it.

So people are panicing because they cant play a surpremely broken build that goes completely against game mechanics and needs to be patched mid league its so broken?

i havent been keeping up with it but from the forum posts apparently ggg said they wouldnt nerf it mid league so people thought it was safe to buy everything then a week later they post this saying they are nerfing it

ggg staff were selling off their voices jewels, once they did, they gave the nerf the green light
