so most of the upcoming changes are quality of life. summoners will be okay at best, always limited by minion AI (even aggressive yes, not to mention you lose a multiplier if you use new aggressive support gem in place of dmg gem).
spectres are nerfed quite hard, lost soul weaver (100% inc dmg and life), the rest of the changes don't quite make up for it. there is new possibility for scaling dmg, yes, by getting all the best +lvl gear etc etc. like dual wield +1 dmg wands, +2 elder bone helmet and such things, but on the flipside, without gear investment, dmg will be much lower than before, you can't even get 84 spectres without investment, lvl 20 gem = lvl 80 spectre limit. also consider that necro will be popular I assume since ppl who haven't tried before will be interested to give it a go, so summoner items will be pricey, the demand for well rolled wand bonehelm +skill chest etc. will be insane keep that in mind.
+1 ALL minion gems by itself is stupid overpowered for duel wielding and could probably do shapers on its own with zombies with blue wands. Not to mention we dont know all the mods on the weapon. Just how many minion builds have you played exactly? Also holding out hope this update is coming with an update to minion ai, although its probably not going to happen.

With 2x clayshaper you can get 6 golems before level 50. Unique rockbreaker and its usually on the market day 1 for 1-2c. The rest are kinda expensive jewels [you can make the most expensive one yourself by combining the other ones. Grab the cheapest ones you can.] And acendancy nodes. Which is why I think the max number might get changed.
