There are several ground effects and explosions that can kill you, there is no fight recap, pretty much if you see anything dodge it

every game you play for the first time you should play through untwinked and without any guides, do every quest and explore every area.

/e unless you are coming from d3, in that case you need a retard bus and should follow engineering eternity's guide because they literally spell every single thing out.

Maps are Map makers only drops.

As long. They are killing bosses yes you do get completion

Some things like red elder bosses are not shared.

Of course it does, its much easier to build an atlas if you are getting map drops.

This is PoE, not D3, Wording matters ALOT more than you'd think.

It's all very basic once you get further in the game.
Using currency while leveling isn't a bad idea, but usually it's better to save as much as you can so that you can trade them for items later, when you're higher level and able to use better gear.
Staying at the same level as the area level, or slightly lower will yield the fastest leveling experience.
but it's not really an option for someone just starting, especially from scratch.
