I've had a semi tough time sustaining T16 seas. 3 sextant with either bloodline on bloodline maps or onslaught on non bloodlines with triple Sac Frag+chis+20pack size, I have the elder thing square thing so it ping pongs aswell, It sometimes doesn't pingpong and I continue to run maps on it idk if that's factoring in, but I havnt really sustained them, I've been profitting for sure, but sustaining them, not so much. Im 155/159 atlas. I don't run my T15s I sell them. Guess I need to wipe my square and kill uber to get that 4th red sextant. I feel like I'm right on the cusp of sustaining but not there yet, every 10-15 I run I'm down 1-2. So hoping when I get some time to play I'll try Uber and hopefully that extra sextant helps. Worst case it will just make me profit more because 1 red map drop in 3 maps will pay for it.
As for OP. I think Quant/rarity is a good idea early(I ran a rarity gem as my 6th link for the first few days until I got my elder orb) though imo it should be the icing on the cake when the cake is pushing your atlas completion as fast as possible. The rarity worked good a shit load of 5-20c uniques. But honestly the best way I think is push your atlas completion and run the highest tier maps you can sustain. The amount of currency you can make selling maps early is insane. As long as you don't mind actually selling them. If you don't, it's huggeeee profits. Way more then low maps with Quant imo. Low maps with Quant your really only profiting off big unique drops, which unless your running a shit load of rarity it's not much different than higher maps. Your really only getting paid off div cards. When you run high maps you profit off map sales and shaped/elder bases. Which come every map, compared to the 400 or so avg of maps for doctor cards.
Personally I think Quant farming low maps is something you do late in league when map prices are shit all uniques are shit. And your really only looking for big ticket div cards. Until that point I think your just gimping yourself, by not pushing atlas and trying to stay ahead of the curve.
