R.I.P.

700 hours of gameplay and money invested in microtransactions lost. Whoever sent the original pm I hope you see this and I hope you're banned from the game permanently.

You serious? At least make sure you report that guy as well.
Trading same items on both forums is kinda asking for it though..

I never asked for forum gold though. The buyouts were for igc only. I work too much to just post on jsp or just post on xyz.is, id never sell anything lol ive sold like 4 items worth 1 ex or less in 2-3 weeks. (Sold them for igc too, nothing illegal about that) The reason they've banned me is for very low end orb/fg trading, only for mapping materials lol.

You really messed up.

Anyone can make a thread on JSP and pose as someone by listing their items, there's no proof there. If he had reported you there would be no real proof. You could have even edited the screenshots out of the thread, you're within the edit time.

But
You posted a private message screenshot here, which no one but you could do.
You admitted to GGG that you rmt'd.

RIP. Let this thread be an example of what not to do for future people. :(

Even though that's right, what if GGG checks the last transactions?

You're both right, I merely thought that the extreme low end of currency trading I was doing would go ignored due to the nature of the offense of the guy that pmed me. I had hoped if I were honest with them and explained that i'm merely a casual gamer that just plays after work to unwind that they would overlook it. I'm not flipping large amounts of currency. Even if I would've edited the trade thread and removed the screenshots, they would have gone through my recent posts on d2jsp and seen that I had indeed used some fg to trade for orbs at some point. I would've had the same results either way imo. (They can check trade history ingame, and I couldn't edit out the other threads..)

Yea I suppose that I should've told the guy to kindly fuck off, edited my trade thread, and not said anything about it again. Oh well, hopefully they banned the blackmailing little bastard, It was only a game account :P

Although my post history is littered with items they could've linked to my account at some point, or items that are still there, and i can't edit those posts.

I don't think they maintain a transaction history for characters, they'd catch a lot more if they did IMO. (Every mirror trade could be tracked and anyone selling/buying mirrors on JSP could be easily banned)

However, they did tell us that they can login as a character. So they can check items being sold. A smart JSPer will only sell items via screenshots taken on http://poe.trade - because anyone can do that. But if the screenshots are all taken from your own stash...then you're basically caught.

Yeah but if one JSP account has three FT threads for 3 rare items and posts 'sold' in each one within 5 minutes of the time someone 'gives' someone that rare in game....it's obviously not gifting. However with millions of accounts, you're a needle in a haystack. You just need to avoid that original action that makes you stand out.
