Was referring to standard prices where a mirror is 8k fg (for around $40). (not 12). And the fact it's possible is what causes PoE to be a hot item to cash out on. The margins used to be way larger as well.

This discrepancy in prices is what allows cash shops to convert fg to cash.

At this moment a mirror cost 475 Ex x 25fg = 11875 FG

11875 costs 365$ when you purchase FG this on d2jsp.

It seems to me that you just implied that these cash shops are selling mirrors for less than what they are buying them for? Well they are not operating at a loss so you are misunderstanding the process.

It probably depends on the website that is selling RMT.

I've noticed some of the ones in game usually advertise very high prices, compared to some I know.

I'm guessing the ones who advertise in game probably get a fair bit of traffic. They wouldn't be advertising in game if they didn't.

The site I used in the past for different games has ex currently at 90c per, a mirror at $280.

I think I seen a rmt bot advertising $3 per for ex earlier today.

Well, if there is a cheaper way on jsp to get FG than the advertised price, ofc you could make some cash. but if this is somehow related to the official FG price than you can not make a profit unless they are selling mirrors on different sites for more than 365$ of course that is possible but i assume any stupid buyer will take the first pick on google searches and ends up on ebay, where they get the mirror for 249Euro. so you might be right, and i might not understand the process of getting FG at least 30% cheaper than the advertised price but somehow the site has to live and people need to keep buying FG with $.

Meanwhile my google search gave me a league mirror for 179$ so that makes the ratio even more difficult. 365$ (official FG price) and 179$ first pick on google. Is it easy to get FG for 50% of the original price? I assume that is what you are trying to tell me.

Im trying to argue that I dont need to tell you that there is. The fact that these shops buy the mirrors for FG and then sell them for cash is PROOF that there is a cheaper way.

Think about it: these shops absolutely do not resell the mirrors for FG. Only buy.

nobody buys fg at the listed price, they buy something to sell for fg (even your overpriced mirror nets more fg).

they aren't sourcing currency from temp leagues, they have bots for that. They buy standard league (which is why ipez is right but only for standard) because if you are going to bot why bot the cheaper currency when you run the risk of bans just the same?

all of this talk about price is pointless, as pointed out if you spend money on advertisement you can charge anything because you aren't competing with anyone once the buyer is on your site. There are far more idiots with money than there are frugal rmters looking for the best deal.
