Had mine unlocked in like 8 hours. Only big trades were with Smalldevil94. Admitted to using FG, promised to never do it again, got reply in 5 minutes. Unlocked.

Can it be, that some of the traders here, buy the exalts and sell them through other websites and those might be paid with hacked credit cards or stolen gift cards? Because that could bring GGG into trouble. Or is there any other reason (like ladder competition) why they would care about a couple of hundred people enjoying the game of inter game trading?

I mean, for me this is the only reason why I play a game. (I even spend 30$ per quarter on POE) I played Eve Online, Wow, Diablo3 (when the ah was still there), etc. And the only reason why, was because the liquidity of the invested time. When trading is not possible anymore i quit the game

I even tell my friends, when they ask me if I still play games; "I play JSP". And looking at efficiency, it would make more sense for me to skip all this and just use regular $ to buy everything, my real hours are worth far more than the time spend on playing / trading, but it is just enjoyable.

It don't even need to be stolen credit cards. But I can pretty much guarantee people are using d2jsp as a source for exalts to sell on other websites. Smalldevil94 is one of them, but I'm sure not the only one. Google smalldevil94 and you can see he is active on many websites.

Some of them have resorted to using alts because people know the risk is too great to trade with them.

They don't care about the ban, because they don't risk anything of value with their account. Sure once in awhile they lose some exalts in a ban, but that is just a tax to them.

I also think GGG has stepped up their game in detection and proactive bans. This seems like a league where more and more people on here are getting caught.

D2JSP was just a way for me to carry over wealth between leagues. I can do fine without D2JSP and in the end my account is worth more to me than being able to use this website for trading in POE. I'm glad I got my account unlocked.

It's because every time you sell a mirror on an RMT website you pretty much double your $. On the high end mirrors are around $40 on d2jsp but on an RMT website u can get $100-$120.

This difference makes PoE a good game to cash out on, which is why we are all in this situation haha.

Oh for sure, its very lucrative. I wish we had a mod take interest in this, because eventually the legit traders will either be scared off or banned.

Not so much the traders causing people to get bans(we all know this is a risk we all take), but the traders using alts to trade with people and launder their FG because their main has been blacklisted by the community.

I would think it would be a very easy thing for someone with mod tools to track, though would be time consuming.

Unfortunately it's probably too complicated to do such a thing and might not even make sense since every time you are banned you need to spend your fg to rebuy items again.

I'll contact a mod but I really don't think it's within their wheelhouse to tackle such a problem.

The more organized RMT'rs rarely keep huge stashes of in game value, they flip and liquidate asap.

And usually their in game items they sell are spread out amongst accounts. Makes it much harder for the devs to catch it all in one swipe.

Pick who you trade with and you will reduce rmt ban chance by alot,but its never 100% guaranteed you won't get banned.I avoid few ppl while trading and never had issues.

how does that calculation make sense? A mirror is roughly 11-12k fg right now in league. You really think they're getting 12000 fg for 40$?
