It's really not that hard once you get into it. It just seems daunting at start.

The main thing poe has over D2R right now is a dev team who actually listens to and communicates with the community. That's the one standout thing for me more than anything after playing poe for years before coming back to D2.

you mean like how they keep adding more and more content and keep all the outdated stuff int he game? A Flask system that people have BEGGED them for almost a decade now to remove? QoL that they only now start bringing in after years of click excesses? nah man its a good game but its just too much time investment to really get to the fun part. You cant even skip the story

flask system is whatever man since recently. instilling orb makes them go full automatic

PoE is a oneshotty mess. The game wants you to die so that you feel like there's always "more to work on" and thus play the game for longer.

... Also, it's balanced around the leagues, and I for one really hate starting from scratch all the time, so no thanks.

PoE is on my bottom 5 games list. Very scummy game design that seems to trick the naive.
