1. going to 100 isn't deep at all, thats not even starting once you get to about 300-500 is when you are really starting to actually delve and the difference between 100 - 300 is massive.
2. that yellow square you are going around does not have a node in it.. there is always an icon if there is an actual node there. that yellow square is nothing.
3. to access nodes in the middle of nowhere you have to find the path. its always behind a wall, once you blow up the wall it will show the path. you then have to go back to the cart and activate the travel. There is a slightly complex method for guessing which node leads to it but it is not fool proof - sometimes you just gotta search the area. There are tons of videos and guides about it so not sure what you are googling to not find it. Based on the cropped image you posted it is likely that node in the lower right corner that you come into from the right and then goes down to the other 2 nodes. If a node has only two connections its usually the best bet for finding the wall to break to reach an off-path node. They will always be more then 1 space away as there cannot be a wall if its one space away.
