its a clear waste of 2 exalts for a suffix gain which an simple exalt would do since there are already 3 pfx mods
i dont see the purpose
if you have 2 exalts to use to craft the cannot be changed mod why not just slam it twice?

has nothing to do with learning there is no hidden benefit here

if you slam it twice it costs 2 exalts, vs beast slamming it twice = 36c

36c is less than 2 exalts, i don't understand..

So it would be 2ex + 36c vs just 2ex

then how do you add an affix on there for free?
both need prefixes can't be changed
1 needs an exalted orb to be used on it to gain an affix
the other needs an 18c beast on it to gain an affix

if i'm adding an affix it goes (from a blank amulet with 3 prefixes)
exalt orb --> prefixes can't be changed (2ex) --> scour --> total cost 3ex
vs
prefixes can't be changed (2ex) --> beastcraft add a suffix remove a prefix (18c) --> scour --> total cost 2 ex and 18c




what am i missing here?

First of all. If the recipe cant remove a prefix the craft button is proberly greyed out and will not work
The same as adding a fourth prefix will not work either.

Second you want a freebie and that isnt possible.
Just forget the beast crafting en slam some exalts. Dont slam 3 want you need a free spot for prefixes cant be changed if the 2 suffixes are bad.
Only if the 2 suffixes are good you can add the last suffix. So only the last slam is under influence of range

Be prepared to use a lot of exalts and ask yourself if it is worth to do that.

You don't need prefix can't be changed if you slam it.

ahh alright, so far i've done 26 slams + scours and haven't made if past the first suffix yet.
3rd suffix is going to get crafted on anyways, but atm keep rolling life regen/rarity of items/t8 resists or all attributes



but i need prefix can't be changed when i scour off the shitty suffix i just exalted onto there



only works for magic items.
