Yes, there is. If you have a monitor over 60Hz, there is a HUGE quality of life increase for viewing when you increase your FPS to match the Hz. Personally, I bought a gsync monitor, no more worries about it. I run max fps settings and haven't had any troubles, it's all smooth viewing.

there are games where going above 60 isnt significant at all (and im sure poe is one of them), it all depends on the game.

That is not true. It will look just as smooth regardless of the game. It is dependent on the refresh rate on the monitor you are viewing so long as your FPS is equal to or higher than the refresh rate of the monitor (Hz).
