i can't think of a game more interactive in pvp than d2. can you? like mmorpg pvps were more click the person once so u can name lock (no need to hold down or anything) and spam like 1-9 or f keys. i think cabal had a timing bar which made it better than most pvps imo.

d2 was the only game that i played that required skill to pvp excluding any fps games or mobas.

why do people say d2 pvp was shit? was I just a naive 13 year old or was it not very fun? i did it for hours lol. especially when you get to high tire same gear type scenarios. skill and some luck was needed.

hell even if u had shit gear like a tals fireball sorce u could shit on players with 10k fg gear cause of skill.

i def. miss those pvp moments. all of them. even finding the annoying shitty kids who nk constantly and you spend a fuckin hour convincing them they're trash and to 1v1 you, shit on them and then they log out lol.

i feel like druid v druid was so fuckin fun too. easily the best class for pvp imo. i can only recall ft5ing mozu for hours lol i cant remember many other pvpers on jsp.

nova sorce was fun as fuck, wind druid fun as fuck, bvc was fun as fuck, everything was fun as fuck.

d2 was one of those games where u magic finded for gear for pvp, which none of arpgs do that now.

yup. when I got my mf char up and efficient I didn't just feel like what now like on poe. It was progression and it felt good. always something to work toward because pvp was so fun. I also think the social aspect was fun too. A lot of good convos came out of baal runs or uber leeching. poe requires you to not miss a beat which is cool but being able to rush someone or get rushed was fucking legit.

The 1000+ chayula runs I hosted this league also had a bunch of people coming back, giving me money and chatting about fun things. You can casually make 10-15 mirrors a league and have fun without grinding like a bot. Just do Rotas or host things.

Pvp in d2 is horrible lol. Try out the Korean games if you want to pvp ( blade and soul/etc). We were just all 13 year olds at that time with no other games out to play, even going back to it with 50k fg worth of gear, raping everyone - it just feels unrewarding.

Resolution is absolutely dogshit compared to most games nowadays. Literally zero content, but I mean, Some people actually play RuneScape as well lul.
