Deff give it back, I had multiple people this league overpay on items and I gave them all back. Some were on purpose, some didn’t know, all were pleased with the returned currency.

As mentioned integrity is a good trait to have.

Karma is not real but no one should need some mystical concept to bring them to do the right thing.

Maybe you underpriced it so hard that even 10,2 ex was cheap.

So, the full story.

At the point of trade he did not realize what happened, nor did I.

Ex are yellow so 0 is not noticeable, and I remeber I was wondering what would his ratio of chaos to 0.2 ex be, so I was more concentrated on chaos.

I deposited currency in stash tab and continued mapping. After I came back from mapping, I see I have more ex in tab than I should have and realized what has happened.


He did not messaged me about it.
I could have messaged him about it and return currency, but I chose not to.

The only time I stole was toy plane when I was 5 years old.


Now I had nightmare and couldn't sleep because of the game I play for fun....

I wouldn't sweat it, not much you could do.

Probably this... Man felt bad and gave you more, but it's still underpriced so everyone happy

probably scammer dumping his stolen goods on you

or, your item was worth 20ex + and he felt guilty

or he is just stupid


either way, I would have at least mentioned it to him (have had people overpay in the past.. not that much though and usually they just didnt care)

It's a game of trade and barter. The value of an item is only what you make it and he saw your item being under valued... Paid what he thought was his value of the item.

So logically there's no right or wrong to what someone pays for anything.

Physically the only true value of an item is what the npc vendor gives you.
