2h weapons have 4 slots
Armor has 2 slots
Helm, Glove, Boots have 1 slot each
Unset rings have 1 slot
socket talisman has 1 slot

Once you put the skill gem into the skill slot it unlocks the links, depending on how many the skill gem has.

This is the whole reason for the meta support gems I believe - they will act as the "active skill" and the skills you link to it become the support skills.

but is that worth giving up stats? probably not.
If your armor didnt matter just use a dialla's with the increase xp gain and even though you give up 1 extra slot all your gems will level faster anyway.

Fusings aren't going to be obsoleted. They'll be needed to activate your support gems still.
Kaom's will still have 0 sockets.

Don't think so. That's not what it sounded like from the presentation.

This is so wrong. They clearly said fusings wont exist anymore in the game, and the current fusings will be transformed into jewellers when 4.0.0 launches, at the ratio they will decide later on, most likely 4:1.

that's 78gems slots

poe1 only have 27gem slots


looks like selfdamage-cwdt-build will be the only build in poe2
